EB Bag Swap Sneak Peak!

OK here it is finally my bag swap sneak peak!
I am taking part in the EB bag swap, gotta love swaps, and here is my sneak peak.

bag sneak peak

The bag, but I won't tell you which part of the bag........

sneak peak EB

And the lable I spent AGES on trying to get it just right (and many choice words too) my embroidery machine kept jamming up on me.  Any way it less then perfect but I done it 4 times so I gave up and this is the best one out of all of them...........I think just that little lable took longer than the whole bag to do!!!!!!!

I just hope my swap partner likes her bag (and lable too)

Stay tuned for the big reveal...........

Second pair of Little Explorer Overalls!!!

This is my second pair of little explorer overalls.  I must say I am not as happy with these ones, I made so many muck ups and had to unpick so much.  Also the straps are half as thick as they should be because I ran out of the material.

This is the first time I had done applique and I don't like it I think it looks messy.  Don't know if it is cause I used navy cotton, maybe I should of used a light cotton???????

PJ's for EB challenge!!!

The Kimino top pj's that I made using materials from my stash.  I only just had enough of the flannel to make these.

Dominic modelling the PJ's I made for him........I took too long to finish them and now they are too small for him, although he did have a bonds suit on as well......

Little Explorer Overalls!!!!

These are the little explorer overalls that I have been dying to try and I made a size 2 as Ds1 is only in size 1 so I thought I would make them bigger so he can wear them next summer as it is too cold here now.  But they are too small....The top half fits but the bottom is to tight over his disposable nappy, if he wasn't in nappies it would be ok, but what 17 month old if fully out of nappies????  The pattern must be a pretty small make....Oh well lucky I have two boys so DS2 can wear them later on!!!!!!!

Pink Cord Dress!!

I made this dress for my niece for her birhtday, the top underneath I brought though and the bag is the Margaret bag that I had made for my SIL but I stuffed up when printing out the pattern and made it too small so I put it with this dress and my niece loved it so it went to a good home afterall........

The material is just a pink cord with embroidered flowers and butterflies on it and was left over from the clothing swap........

EB March Challenge Margaret Sling Bag!

The Margaret Sling Bag was the March EB Challenge and I decided to make it for my SIL for her birthday....I took me ages to find suitable material and I nearly gave up but then found some on Ebay.....I printed out the pattern as 2 per page and it shrunk it down and I didn't realise till after I cut it out etc and now I think it is too small for her it looks like a little kids bag...So I don't  know if I should give it to her or not now........

A close up of the fabric, it is a lilac colour and has cherbs on it.

And this is the bag, it looks bigger in the picture but really is a little small.  I am so annoyed as it was the perfect material for her and I haven't got enough to make another.

Sorry about the photo in the bathroom, I chased him around the house for around 1/2hour and took around 50 photos to get this one, he thought it was a great game.  The sleeves are a little long but oh well!!

Here is my "Gratitude Wrap" for the EB challenge.  I just used scraps of material I had at home and the only thing I had to buy was the Bias Binding....I don't know if I done the binding correct or not I couldn't get the tutorial to open, but it is on there now.....Hope you like it.....

I made these little shorts from a linen material for my son AJ to match his sailor top to wear to my brothers wedding in November 2008.  I must say my Mum helped me as we made them with no pattern and I can't work without a pattern..........
